“Petite Maison”, your small
home away from home in London. A one bedroom apartment in
the village of St Johns Wood. Very close to the famous Lords
Cricket Ground and museum, a must to see.
The 4th floor apartment has
views to the north and enjoys the morning and afternoon sun. The kitchen is modern and well equipped,
but there is no dishwasher. The kitchen, which extends into
the lounge via the servery and breakfast bar, enables the
coffee and drink maker to maintain the conversation with the
guests in the lounge. Open gas fire in the lounge area as
well central heating throughout. Digital TV with local
channels (but not cable) also a DVD player. The TV has a
radio system.
Plantation shutters enable
you to access the morning sun into the lounge and bedroom.
The bedroom is full of colour with a pansy painting painted
by the owner, supported by designer guild pillows. The
bedroom has two single beds joined, which makes for a very
large king-size bed. The bed has individual reading lights
in the alcove above the bed and there is also adequate
storage for your bags and clothes in the wardrobe. The
bedroom shutters provide good light and privacy. The
bathroom has a large open area shower. The location is very
quiet and the apartment looks down onto a garden and no
vehicle traffic.
St Johns Wood is on the
Jubilee Line, plus there are many buses to Oxford St via
Baker Street. The village of St Johns Wood has all the
essential shopping and plenty of cafes and good restaurants.
Pubs are plentiful, we have a link for a good pub meal at
“The New Inn” just around the corner.
“The Petite Maison”
is a luxury flat and you will find it is just a wonderful
place to stay, set up for couples and not children. The
purpose is to enable experienced travelers to enjoy London
and stay one to two weeks (minimum stay is 7 nights), to be
self contained and enjoy London for all it has to offer.
